Appropriate candidates for the LipoSonix treatment:

• Must be able to pinch-an-inch of fat on their abdomen
• have a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or less
• Good skin tone with no skin folds
• Good overall health
• Realistic expectations about results

BMI (body mass index)The number calculated from your weight and height that correlates to the percentage of total weight derived from fat (as opposed to muscle, bone or organ weight)  The higher your BMI, the higher the percentage of body fat

BMI Ratings:
Underweight:
less than 18.8

Normal weight:
18.5 to 24.9

Overweight:
25 to 29

Obese:
over 30

You are not eligible for the LipoSonix treatment if you have any of the following conditions:

• A BMI greater than 30
• Skin folds and/or poor skin elasticity
• Scars or patches within the treatment area
• Presence of cancer, diabetes, or vascular or cardiac diseases
• Undergoing chemotherapy, or taking anti-coagulants or immunosuppressive therapy
• Pregnant, may be pregnant, or lactating

 Areas with piercings may be treated if the piercing is removed.
