How does it work?

The hand held paddle is passed twice over the marked target area and takes around an hour.  Great for sculpting bellies, waists and love handles this high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) hits the fat at a deeper level than other more superficial body-sculpting devices.  Fat cells are destroyed via a process termed ‘thermal coagulation’ with residual debris collected by the body’s macrophage (scavenger) cells, this is eventually further broken down and excreted by the liver.

All about fat
When you eat, your body breaks down the sugar and converts some of it to glycogen. Glycogen is used by the liver and muscles for energy. Once the liver and muscles are replenished with glycogen, the body stores the rest of the sugar as fat until it is needed.

When you eat fewer calories than your body needs, your body turns to your stored fat for the energy it needs. Stored fat is broken down, back into glycogen as well as fatty acids. These components are absorbed into your liver and muscles, which use them to produce energy for your body.
